Elementary student have the opportunity to participate in the Little Miss Sipsey Valley Pageant(Pre-K through 4th) on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00pm.
The pageant will be held in the Sipsey Valley Middle School gym. Before making a decision about your child's participation, please be aware of the following:
1.The registration fee is $50 for each contestant, which includes entry into the Photogenic category. Entries will be accepted now through December 20th. **After December 20th, NO ADDITIONAL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED** *** The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS***
2. The Beauty Pageant is formal, so a long gown is appropriate. Contestants will be judged on Overall Beauty, Stage Presence, and Personality
3. There will be a crowned Princess for each grade level with alternates and an Overall Winner (PreK-1st Tiny Miss Sipsey Valley and 2nd- 4th Little Miss Sipsey Valley) OPTIONAL: People's Choice (Miss Buhl, Miss Myrtlewood, Miss Westwood) Photogenic (Tiny and Little Miss Photogenic)
4. The stage will be set in a traditional T pattern
5. There will be a practice on Friday, January 31st PreK-1st (5-6pm) 2nd-4th(6-7pm) *This is a closed practice, Contestants and Parent/Guardian Only*
6. Photogenic photos must be turned in at practice. (5x7) NO LATE PHOTOS WILL BE ACCEPTED
7. Contestants should arrive Completely Dressed at 1:00 pm (Doors will open at 1:30) Contestants and one guardian should enter from the back of SVMS only.
8. Tickets Tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Children 3 and under will be Free. Each Contestant will be given ONE free entry for a parent/guardian
9. People's Choice This is a great way to raise funds for your school!! Simply collect sponsorships from family and friends, No donation is too small or too large and all the money collected will go directly to your child's school. *CASH ONLY*
The top earning students from each school, Buhl, Westwood, and Myrtlewood will earn a crown, sash and the title of Tiny/Little Miss Buhl, Westwood and Myrtlewood. Donations should be collected and the enclosed form completed and placed in an envelope. *CASH ONLY*
**People's Choice money must be turned in at practice or it will not be counted towards a People's Choice title.** ***Please fill out the attached registration form and return by December 20th***
